Storm Bowling Balls New Releases for 2022. It’s a brand new year, and excitement about the new Storm Balls is in the air. Here is a list of the exciting balls with a brief description of what to expect from each ball.
As each ball is released I will place it on the top of the list of balls here.
It gives you information to help you determine which ball will best suit your style and bowling conditions. Plus, the specs that describes the core, coverstock and the oil pattern it works best on.
And, If I personally use the balls, I will give my personal opinion.
I will include videos on each ball as soon as possible so you can watch and see what the ball motion actually looks like before you buy it!

The Fate engine is the F-8 symmetric core that is LOADED with differential (when compared to the previous Belmo collab balls) This unique shape will provide more predictability and hitting power for any style bowler.
Wrapped in the ReX Pearl reactive coverstock and finished with Reacta Gloss, this will allow the ball to pick up in the mids and sail through the backend, and straight thought the pins.

The Engine inside the Night Road is the ever-reliable Inverted Fe² symmetric core. This core is well known from the Hy-Road series! It is this weight block, that allows more torque and cleaner shape through the fronts.

The Storm Spectre is the newest addition to Storm’s Thunder line. The engine inside the Spectre is the cutting-edge Vector symmetric core. This new shape gives the Spectre a motion that fits in nicely between the Hy-Road and the Trend. You have never seen continuation like this before.
Wrapped with the R3S pearl reactive coverstock and finished with the 1500 grit polished surface, you will get repeatable controllable motion shot after shot.
Good For Transition Oil
The Spectre video demonstrates this ball on transition oil after a league bowled on it and still it did not seem to over react. I would consider using this ball whenever the oil transition was causing my stronger ball to react too much.
Being that the flare is listed as medium high, it should be just right for me on those conditions.

To keep you ball investment in top condition, you have to keep it clean. Wiping the ball before every pitch with a good clean Microfiber Towel, helps to remove oil and keep the pores open.
Keeping the ball clean, keeps the reaction consistent. After a three game series, the ball should be cleaned with a good ball cleaner. Click here to find all your favorite ball cleaners and polishes.
However, if you bowl 3 or more times a week, you may need some extra help. The pro shop will offer to rejuvenate your ball with a through cleaning for about $25. They do this using either heat or a hot water bath to clean the ball. Now you can do this at home.
