The Black Widow Ghost Pearl is the newest bowling ball in the Black Widow line. Inside is the Iconic Gas Mask asymmetric core. Hammer Bowling Balls New Releases introduces the Raw Hammer Black. It is the only solid in this new Raw Hammer series. This is one of two pearls in the new Raw Hammer series. Hammer has released a new mid line performance ball, reasonably priced to fit bowlers needs without breaking the bank. This new symmetrical core design will prove to be a very controllable ball for beginners as well as advanced bowlers, looking for a medium-dry lane ball.
The Raw Hammer Blue White Pearl is equipped with the juiced pearl/pearl reactive coverstock covering the newly designed symmetrical core Raw Hammer engine. A new addition to the hammer line-up, The Raw Hammer. This ball is in the mid range performance level, making it cost attractive for many bowlers. This new series features an all-new symmetric core design, the Raw Hammer.

I have the purple hammer with the serial number of F 0731108.I have been told it is illegal by one pro shop and another pro shop said it is legal can you let me know.

Sorry I’m late getting back to you. USBC has banned the Purple Hammer manufactured in 2016 and 2017 that serial numbers start with a 6 0r 7. That is for tournament play. It is mostly in the big tournaments out west, like Nevada.
Now, you need to check with any local tournaments and local leagues, and check with your local pro shop. Our leagues are still allowing them locally. And a bright spot is that Brunswick will replace your ball (if it is illegal) with a new Purple Hanner that is legal in all tournaments.
So, get it checked out, and replaced if necessary! I just currently bought an Altered Reality that is also on the banned list. So far it is ok to use them in local leagues, an I don’t do many tournaments anymore. So check it out, and get a new ball!!
