Storm DNA – Released 1/20/23 – FREE SHIPPING

Storm is proud to introduce DNA, their newest Premier performance line featuring all-new Storm Bowling technology!

This new SuperCoil asymmetric weight block has a unique shape that helps reduce the RG and create a greater midlane read to give you increased hook.

It’s wrapped in the new EXO Solid reactive coverstock, and finished at a 2000 Grit Abralon to give you maximum traction on today’s challenging lane conditions.

Get ready to experience a level of performance you’ve never seen before!

Here is what Storm has to say about the DNA

You may have already seen how a bowling ball is made. We start from the innermost part, the weight block, and work our way out. In this case, it’s the inventive Supercoil weight block. The intent was to develop a super low RG shape with a greater undrilled intermediate differential. Traditionally, weight blocks with more of the mass placed around the equator drive the RG down and read the midlane better. The cutaway on the Y-axis helps to maintain dynamic integrity after drilling. When it’s time, the coverstock is poured. In just a few minutes as the liquid transitions to a solid, an extreme amount of heat (about 200 °F) needs to be released for this to happen. We refer to this as “exotherm”. This stage in the process is crucial to the chemistry of the coverstock and by controlling the peak temperature, heat rate, and cool-down speed we can manipulate the chemical porosity deep within that helps with oil absorption and displacement. This creates caverns of porosity and cliffs so deep which give this state of-the-art shell the kind of cutting-edge traction that’ll leave you in awe. Enter: EXO Reactive coverstock.

The Latest Storm Bowling Balls New Releases 2023

Storm Absolute – Released 1/20/23 – FREE SHIPPING

The Storm Absolute is the latest addition to Storm’s Premier line. Wrapped around the Absolute is the R2S Deep Hybrid reactive coverstock. Finished with Reata Gloss, this ball will be cleaner through the fronts than any of the other R2S formulas.

The engine inside is the new Sentinel asymmetric core. It is designed to help create more motion and continuation on medium to heavy lanes. This is the first single-density asymmetric core in a Storm ball since the Lucid.

The unique angled shape, even after drilling, will increase intermediate differential, allowing it to respond sooner. And it allows the weight block to remain intact after drilling the thumb hole!

Here is what Storm Has to Say about the Absolute

In most cases, an extra slug, or weighted disk, is needed to create enhanced dynamics, but the evenly weighted masses at both ends of the Sentinel Core upgrades this effect more than a single slug ever could. This ensures the Absolute will change direction and continue through the pins better and more consistently. This is the first single-density asymmetric core in the Storm line since the Lucid. The R&D team has also reduced the amount of weight block mass near the area where the thumb hole is typically placed. The inward angled edges increase the intermediate differential prior to drilling and allows the dynamic integrity to be preserved after drilling because the thumb hole misses the weight block. The extra intermediate differential makes the Absolute respond to friction on the lane more effectively and won’t miss the spot.

Storm Revenant – Released 1/20/23 – FREE SHIPPING

This new Storm Revenant has the same specs as a previously released Storm ball, the Spectre. Wrapped with the R3S Pearl reactive coverstock, finished with Reacta Gloss, will provide a strong backend motion on medium to heavy lane conditions.

Inside, the Vector symmetric core will provide a consistent ball motion on tough lane conditions.

This ball will go long with it’s skid-flip reaction, and finish strong on the backend.

Here is what Storm has to say about the Revenant

It’s risen. R3S Pearl is together anew with the Vector Core, but with a fresh veneer and more reaction where it matters most: at the pins. Reacta Gloss is cutting-edge when it comes to surfaces. Using an all-new polishing agent, Reacta Gloss maintains its profile longer and more consistently than any previous Storm polished finish before it. Go ahead. Grip it. You’ll immediately feel a difference to the touch. The Vector Core has some extra post-drilled asymmetry built into it if the driller chooses to use it, a feature unique to this design of symmetric core. The mid-range RG should appeal to those who are fans of the ever-popular Hy-Road™ and Trend™ series but crave something in between.
